The short version
I’m a romance author married to a handsome Highlander, writing warm, witty love stories set in Scotland. My books celebrate second chances, emotional honesty, and the truth that it’s never too late to start again.
The long version
I’m a romance author writing contemporary romances about women in their prime*. Stories full of warmth, wit, and emotional honesty. Expect slow-burn chemistry, rich emotional journeys, and a strong sense of place—with characters who prove it’s never too late for a fresh start (or a second chance at love). My stories are sensual and emotionally layered—intimate without being explicit, with plenty of spark and depth.
I have a degree in English Literature, a not-so-secret obsession with knitting (and a yarn stash that’s definitely outgrown its basket—shhh, don’t tell Mr Darling), and a lifelong love of scones**.
When I’m not writing, you’ll usually find me browsing in a bookshop, planning my next knitting project, or out in the Scottish countryside—hiking, paddleboarding, or simply soaking up the view with a flask of tea.
I’ve lived in Scotland most of my life, though I spent a couple of years in Connecticut during high school—which might explain why my books often have one foot in each world.
