Our Highland elopement photographs

Two decades after our actual wedding day!

We had the joy of doing a Highland elopement photoshoot a little while back. It was such fun to get dressed up again, with Mr Darling in full kilt and me back in my wedding dress.

Victoria from Nomad Makeup and Hairstyling worked her incredible magic in her gorgeous mobile beauty studio (an amazing made-over camper van!), and photographer Cara Davidson was a dream to work with—calm, kind, and made us feel completely at ease.

We disappeared into the wilds of Perthshire, and came back with something really special. Our original wedding photos hadn’t turned out as we’d hoped — so to have these, two decades on, is a very special a kind of gift.
